Ok, so it's official, we are expecting another wonderful addition to the Rhoads Family sometime around August 18, 2011! Charlie and I have always been planning and hoping for one more. We both just had this feeling that there was one more family member waiting for us to give the green light! We feel blessed that this one is on his/her way. So far so good; we have had our first sneak peek of a strong heartbeat and an adorable little developing body.
Kate turned 3 this weekend. What a wonderful time we had reveling in her excitement and beautiful smiles. This was a very exciting birthday for her. She is old enough and has been to enough birthday parties to know the drill. "Momma, will there be Balloons? Cake? Presents? Pinata? Princesses? Goodie Bags?" We hosted a small playgroup birthday party and then a family pizza party over the weekend. She was the light and life of the party in her princess dress and crown. She woke up in the morning singing "...today is my birthday...woo hoo!!" Kate is just pure sweet joy and we are loving every minute of this age. I will do my best to replay these days in about 12-15 years when the teenage stuff sets in!!
